Mary Anne Manata

Of Vernon Hills

Mary Anne Manata, formerly of Arlington Heights, was born September 27, 1947 in Chicago, to Robert J. and Minnie (nee Biritz) Blum.  She died Friday, June 24, 2005 at the University of Chicago Hospital.

Mrs. Manata was an IT manager for 30 years for Kemper Insurance in Chicago and Long Grove before she retired in 2000.  Mary Anne was an avid golfer and traveler and a former Eucharistic Minister for St. Edna Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 3 years Thomas Manata, whom she married January 12, 2002; her daughters Andrea (Brett) Page of Minooka and Jennifer (James) Schmauderer of Aurora; her step-sons Daniel (Dawn) Manata, Michael (Shawn) Manata and Anthony Manata; her grandchildren Michael and Matthew Schmauderer, Marissa, Jacob and Jeffrey Manata; her brother Gerard (Billye) Blum

She was preceded in death by her first husband Dale Paoli; her grandson Nicholas Page, her brother Robert G. Blum and her parents.

Visitation Tuesday, June 28, 2005 from 3:00 until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.  Entombment will be at All Saints Mausoleum, Des Plaines.
