Leonard Valerio
Of Wheeling

Leonard Valerio was born October 14, 1952 in Chicago to Anthony and Frances (nee Woodel). He died June 12, 2005 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Fremont, Ohio.

Mr. Valerio was presently employed as the service manager for Ravinia Plumbing and Heating in Highland Park. He served as an officer of the Plumbing Contactor Association of Lake and McHenry County. He served in the Marine Corps during Vietnam. Leonard was a former soccer coach for the Wheeling Park District, also Assistant coach for the Wheeling Soccer Club. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed woodworking. Leonard will be remembered for his dedicated and selfless love for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patricia L. (Nee Sochacki), whom he married on September 24, 1979 in Chicago; his daughters Sarah and Stephanie Valerio; his mother Frances Valerio; and his brother Joe Valerio.

Leonard is preceded in death by his grandmother Daisy Woodel.

Memorial service 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Memorial visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
