Sheila Ann Walsh was born on December 28, 1940 in Chicago to Henry and Lucille (nee Kapernick) Heffernan. She died Friday, May 24, 2013 in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Walsh was a former president of the Lexington Catholic High School PTA, as well as an avid bridge player and traveler.

Sheila is survived by her son, Michael H. (Amy) Walsh; and her grandchildren, Alayna M. Harber, Kourtney M. Kurps, and Michael A. Walsh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Walsh; her daughter, Donna M. Walsh; her brother, Donald Heffernan; and her parents.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Prayers, 9:15 am Wednesday, May 29, 2013 the funeral home proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 am. Burial at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to American Cancer Society, 1114 N. Arlington Heights Rd Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
