Mary Kay Affrunti was born December 10, 1952 in Chicago James and Jayne (King) McCarthy. She died April 30, 2013.

Mary Kay was an emergency room nurse at Northwest Community Hospital for over 25 years.

Mary Kay is survived by her husband Anthony Affrunti; her children Amanda Affrunti, Peter Affrunti; her siblings Kevin McCarthy, Patti (Art) Sternberg, Maura McCarthy and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Kay is preceded in death by her brother James McCarthy, her grandmother Katherine M. King and by her parents.

Visitation Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 3 until 9 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral and interment services private.
