Norbert A. Milz
Of Arlington Heights

Norbert A. Milz was born on September 9, 1932 in Evanston to Herman and Ethel (nee Legner) Milz. He passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at his home in Arlington Heights.

Norbert was past President and Treasurer and a current long time member of the Lutheran Laymens League and St. Peter Fellowship Club. He was also a long time member of the Arlington Heights VFW. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Norbert was a die hard Cubs fan and an avid camper.

Norbert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret (Arrigo); his children, Janette (Joseph) Presz, Carolyn G. Vermillion and Douglas (Tamatha) Milz; his grandchildren, Justin (Kari), Jonathan and Jason Presz, Keith and Emily Vermillion and Nathan and Rebecca Brown; his sister, Melanie (the late Ralph) Hauth; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights and Saturday May 19, 2012 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights. Interment Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
