Michael E. Teefey
Of Schaumburg

Michael E. Teefey November 23, 1945 in Battle Creek, MI to Francis and Mary (nee Donnelly) Teefey. He died May 9, 2012 at his home doing what he enjoyed.

Mike served in Operations/Intelligence for the United States Navy. Mike was a director of manufacturing and purchasing for Woodward Controls, ROL Industries and Cardinal Tool, before his retirement in 2008. He was also a member of the National Association of Purchasing Managers. Mike was an award winning watercolor artist. He enjoyed sailing, golfing, playing video car driving games as well as watching car races. He was a long time respected member of the Racine Yacht Club. He was a “self-renowned” chef who was never far from his Diet Pepsi.

Michael is survived by his wife Denise (nee Nesbitt) Teefey; his girls Freida and Squeaker; his brothers Bill (Ginny) and Pat (Nancy) Teefey and many nieces and nephews.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 11 AM until time of service at 1:30 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Friends of DuPage County Animal Care and Control, 120 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187.
