Donald A. Kreutzer

Donald A. Kreutzer was born January 6, 1930 in Chicago to George C. and Helen (nee Kruse) Kreutzer. He died May 5, 2012.

Don served in the Army Infantry during the Korean War where he was awarded multiple Commendations for Meritorious Service. He taught at the Latin School of Chicago, the Wilmette Public Schools, Glencoe Public Schools and Lutheran General Parkside. Don, “Coach”, was a confidant and passionate caregiver within his Fellowship of Bill W.

Don is survived by his wife Cindy (nee Scammell) Kreutzer; nephew Dr. James (Terri) Kreutzer, Karen (Leroy) Magas; sister in law Sheryl (Martin) Welles. The family greatly appreciates his loving friends of Bill W.

Don is preceded in death by brothers George T. and Robert G. Kreutzer and by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to an organization of your personal choice.
