Of Arlington Heights
Richard Resner was born December 15, 1928 in Chicago to Stanley and Marie Resner. He passed away peacefully May 29, 2011 in Arlington Heights with his loving family at his side.
Richard is survived by his children, Dru (Steve) Ciolino, Jill (Tim) Shekleton, Regine (Dino) Lagattolla, and Lori (Dan) Halfman; his grandchildren, Courtney, Kelli, Aubrie, Tommy, Emily, Joey, Olivia, Nicholas, and Sophia; his brother James (Bernadette) Resner; his sister in law, Gene Resner; and his nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (nee Pfeiffer); his brothers Edmund Resner and Leonard Resner; and his parents.
Visitation Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a service at 7:00PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association of Metropolitan Chicago, 1440 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, 60607.
