Larry W. Malecki was born February 25, 1921 in Chicago to Piotr and Ann Malecki. He died on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Arlington Heights.
Mr. Malecki served as a second lieutenant in the Army Air force during WWII, and worked as a salesman in the chemical industry.
He is survived by his children, Liz (Jim Cosentino) Malecki, Melissa Malecki, and Joy (Kevin) Wade.
Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Laila J. (nee Wigren) Malecki; his parents; and his brothers, Al (Mona) Malecki, and Chester (the late Mary) Malecki.
Visitation from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights Interment Service 1:15 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
