Paul W. Carlson, Jr. was born December 3, 1965 in Galesburg, Illinois to Paul W. and Mary Louise (nee Petersen) Carlson. He died on May 9, 2011 at Princeton Medical Center in Princeton, New Jersey.
Mr. Carlson worked at Abbott Laboratories in Abbott Park, Illinois for over 20 years, most recently as a Program Manager, Strategic Quality and Compliance. He was an avid scuba diver and proud to be an alumnus of Knox College in Galesburg, IL. He adored his family and was a generous soul; he will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Holli (nee Herbert) Carlson; his children, Cecelia Grace, and Camille Elise Carlson; and his sisters, Nancy Carlson and Cathy (Fasil) Gebru.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Visitation, Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Paul’s children’s educational fund via a check payable to “College America”, c/o Glueckert Funeral Home or to the American Diabetes Association.
