Margaret Mary Malone was born March 5, 1918, in Baltimore, Maryland to Joseph and Mary (nee Flynn) Danaher. She passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in Barrington, Illinois.
She was a former resident of Mt. Prospect, IL; Duluth, MN; and Baltimore, MD.
Margaret is preceded in death by her beloved husband David Marion Malone.
Margaret enjoyed playing Ship, Captain and Crew with her family and vacationing in Ocean City, MD. She loved her family and was loved by all her friends and neighbors.
She is survived by her children, Peg (Pam) Malone-Stratton , Kim (Jim) Gilliam , Pat (Terry) Malone , Dave Malone, and Kelly (Phil) Gargano; her grandchildren, Heather, Jesse, Christine, Drew, David, Aaron, Megan, Mandy, and Katelyn; and her great grandchildren, Skyler, Jacob, Leiali, and Colin.
Mrs. Malone will lie in state Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois, Attn: Foundation, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010 would be appreciated.
