Of Prospect Heights
Paul A. Dominik was born March 4, 1954, in Evanston, IL, to Jack and Georgia (nee Bennett) Dominik. He peacefully passed away with his family at his side on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in his home in Prospect Heights. His passing came quickly and unexpectedly after a brief bout with cancer.
Paul owned Paul A. Dominik & Co., located on Northwest Highway in Mount Prospect, for the past 30 years. He was a Certified Financial Planner, Certified Public Accountant, and Personal Financial Specialist. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, and the AICPA Personal Financing Section. Paul was an instrument rated pilot and loved golfing, skiing, and spending time with his family.
Paul was the beloved husband of wife Becky; loved father of Sam, Adam, and Stefanie; treasured brother of David (Suzy) and Georgia Lee; cherished uncle of Jessica, Sophia, Aurora, Austin, and Elizabeth; and dear friend and mentor to many.
Memorial visitation from 4 to 8 PM, Saturday, May 22, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Timothy’s Ministry, P.O. Box 0421, Prospect Heights, IL 60070 (www.timothysministry.org). Timothy’s Ministry, to which Paul was very devoted, is dedicated to reaching out to people struggling with homelessness.
