Of Arlington Heights
Genevieve Mary Gedraitis was born February 23, 1928 in Chicago to Teofil and Zuzana (nee Yurevicius) Maczis. She died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Gedraitis is survived by her husband John W. Gedraitis whom she married October 18, 1969 in Chicago; her niece, Mary Jean (Len) Carmichael, and numerous other nieces and nephews; and her great nieces, Erin and Kara.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 11:15 AM, Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at Noon. Burial at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago.
