Eugene A. “Gene” Pietrini
Of Arlington Heights

Gene Pietrini was born November 18, 1925 in Chicago to Florentino and Rose (nee Baldi) Pietrini. He went home to be with the Lord and his wife, Josephine on Thursday, May 28, 2009 in Arlington Heights.

He was a graduate of Crane High Scholl in Chicago, He was a die-hard Chicago sports fan. His pride and joy were his seven grandchildren and he never missed an opportunity to see them participate in any of their sports or extra curricular activities. He will be greatly missed by his family and the many people he touched.

Gene is survived by his sons, Jim (Maria) Pietrini of Arlington Heights and Gene (Blair) Pietrini of Seal Beach, CA; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Nathan (Dana), Seth (Becca), Zachary (fiancé Kaelee), Nicole, Taylor and Landon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine and his sister, Violet Menconi.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights where funeral service will be held Monday, June 1, 2009 at 9:30 AM. Entombment Mt. Olive Cemetery.
