Harry G. Sr. and
Harriet (nee Fruend)
Eschel. He passed
away on May 1, 2009
in Arlington
Heights.
Harry was a graduate
of Conception
Seminary in
Conception,
Missouri. He earned
a Masters from
Marquette University
in Milwaukee and his
PhD in clinical
psychology from
Loyola University in
Chicago. Harry began
his career as a
school psychologist
for the Chicago
Public School
District. He
continued in that
position with
District 62 in Des
Plaines in 1962
where he later
served as the
Director of Special
Education Student
Services until his
retirement in 1991.
He is survived by
his wife of nearly
45 years, Judy (nee
Ashley); his
children, Harry III
(Suzanne) Eschel of
Wilmette, Mark
(Mary) Eschel of
Hoffman Estates and
Jennifer Forrest of
Glenview; and his
grandchildren,
Katherine Eschel and
Andrew and Matthew
Forrest.
