Roger S. Hewett Sr.
Of Arlington Heights

Roger S. Hewett Sr. was born on March 19, 1917 in Canton, Mass. To Charles and Margaret (nee Sargent) Hewett. He passed away on May 29, 2008 in Arlington Heights.

A graduate of Tufts University, Roger rose to become president of General Precision. Upon retirement he traveled the world and dedicated decades of volunteer service to the Illinois Railway Museum.

He is survived by his children, Susan (Frederick Keller) Hewett and Roger (Melanie DeCarlo) Hewett and special friend, Violet Neukirch.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice.

Memorial visitation 2-5 PM Sunday at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Services and interment private.
