Thomas Marshall Walker

Of Arlington Heights

 

Thomas Marshall Walker was born January 24, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee to John Ed Walker and Louise Wade.  He died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at his home.

 

Mr. Walker was an engineer and general contractor formerly employed with the Nashville Bridge Company and later was the director of construction for the Midwest for Kentucky Fried Chicken.  He currently was owner of TW Corporation.  Thomas served in the National Guard.

 

His survivors include his wife of 41 years Dorothy Ann nee Harwell, whom he married February 18, 1967; his children Thomas Marshall (Amy) Walker, Jr. of Lake Villa and Tanya Sue (Bruce) Schneck of Carpentersville; his grandchildren Kyle Michael Schneck, Caitlin Mackenzie and Allison Raigh Walker; and his sisters Nancy Welch and Teresa Knittle.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents.

 

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights.  Prayers 8:45 AM, Friday, May 30, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM.  Burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
