Alma Lech

Alma Leona Lech, formerly of Cicero, was born October 15, 1922 in Bison, Kansas, to Henry and Mary (nee Leinweber) Popp. She died Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at her home.

Alma was a loving and gracious woman who was beautiful inside and out. Her family was blessed to have her in their lives. Everyone who knew her felt blessed to have known her.

Her survivors include her husband Edward, whom she married January 29, 1949; her daughter Suzanne Deahr of Arlington Heights; her granddaughters Julie (Jeff) Ivens and Jessica Deahr; her sisters Geneva, Ruby and Betty of Great Bend, Kansas; and many nieces and nephews

Alma is preceded in death by her parents; her son-in-law Dennis Deahr; her sister Virginia Azzaro and her brothers Walter and Elmer Popp.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment at Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery.
