Helen Legenza was born on May 14, 1912 in Chicago to Michael and Sophie (nee Wojtowice) Gasiorowski. She passed away on May 1, 2008 in Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Legenza was a print inspector at Ludlow Typograph.
She is survived by her nephew, Michael (Diane) Markowski, her great-nephew, Daniel Markowski and her great-niece, Emily Markowski.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Legenza; her parents, her beloved aunt Stella Smaga and her sister, Emily (Joseph) Markowski.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Lutheran Home and Services, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
