Robert N. Michaels
Of Elk Grove Village for 50 years

Robert N. Michaels was born in Chicago on April 18, 1923 to Arthur and Pearl (nee Nelson) Michaels. He passed away in Schaumburg on May 29, 2007.

Robert was a veteran on WWII having served in the Army Air Corps. He was a scuba diving instructor at the YMCA.

He is survived by his children, Barbara (Bruce) Baccei of Sacramento, Keith (Alma) Michaels of Los Angeles, Scott (Janet) Michaels of McHenry, Sandy (Don) Wudtke of Crystal Lake and Robin Hayes of Elk Grove Village, his grandchildren, Erica, Bruk, Jessica, Ashly, Justin, Michael, Sarah, Camilla and Glenn, his great granddaughter Hanna, his sister, Jane Otrembiak and his brother, Ken (Carol) Michaels.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Hildegarde (nee Michler).

Visitation 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Memorial service 10:30 AM Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 150 Lions Dr., Elk Grove Village. Interment private.
