George Edward Lucas

George Edward Lucas was born December 29, 1932 in Evanston, to Francis and Mary (nee Wells) Lucas. He died Friday, May 25, 2007 at his home.

His survivors include his beloved Michelle Grossi; his children Susan Lucas of Centerville, Virginia, Victoria (Allan) Long of Annandale, Virginia, Steven (Pamela) Lucas of Lake Zurich, Laura (Brian) Anderson of Wheeling and son-in-law Michael Weinberg of Dayton, Ohio; his grandchildren Pamela Cychosz, Jeff Berthlein, Anna Weinberg, Brandon Berthlein, Matthew Long, Jamal Lucas, Rachael Long, Joey Lucas, Stevi Anderson, Jack Anderson, Michael Anderson and Brianna Cychosz; his sisters Peg (Whit) Mehring, Rose (late Bruce) Tischhauser, Betty Lucas, Patty Lucas, brothers, Dan (Jan) Lucas and Leonard Lucas; and his dear friends Leslye and Lee Danecker.

George is preceded in death by his daughter Pamela Weinberg and his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until time of service at 7:30 PM, Sunday, May 27, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment private.
