Eleanor A. “Billie” Cochran
Of Arlington Heights, formerly of Prospect Heights

Eleanor A. “Billie” Cochran was born in Freeport, PA on December 29, 1912 to George and Alma (nee Johansson) Archbold. She passed away in Arlington Heights on May 20, 2007.

Billie was a graduate of Miss Connley Business School in Pittsburgh, PA. She worked as a secretary at Hersey High School for 10 years and was also the financial secretary of Prospect Heights Community Church for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, John M. Cochran, her children, John M. Jr. (Karen), Robert B. Cochran, Jane C. (Butch) Jacobson and Sue E. (Charles) Craig, her grandchildren, Jamie (Roger) Rininger, Kristie (Jack) Rininger, Kimberly Jacobsen, Kelly Cochran, Bob Jacobson, Dan Craig and Marcy Craig, and her great grandchildren, Ryan and Lexi Rininger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Jimmy Cochran, and her siblings, George, Lillian, Mildred, Sarah and Margaret.

Visitation 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Prospect Heights Community Church, 400 N. Elmhurst Rd., Prospect Heights. Entombment Memory Gardens.
