Martha A. Vertenten was born on October 15, 1922 in Detroit, MI to Frank and Alice (nee VanBeveren) Vertenten. She passed away on May 11, 2007 in Inverness.

She is survived by her sisters, Laura (the late Harry) Louvier and Mary (the late Camiel) Cornelis, her favorite niece, Diana Cornelis, her great nieces, Heather and Holly and her great nephew and godson, Ricky.

Services and interment were held privately.
