Joseph Louis Vicich
Formerly Of Arlington Heights

Joseph Louis Vicich, of Avon, Indiana was born September 4, 1940 in Chicago to Joseph and Irene (nee Maynerich) Vicich. He died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Mr. Vicich was a school bus driver for Community Consolidated School District #15. Prior, he had been a draftsman and project engineer for the Grieve Corporation. Joseph was a fan of Chicago sports teams including the White Sox, Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, Arlington Park Racetrack and was a “Bud Man.”

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Leona nee Grzywacz; his children David Joseph Vicich of Lake-in-the- Hills, IL, Jacqueline (Richard) Dwenger of Avon, IN and Anthony Louis (Jennifer) Vicich of Derry, NH; his grandchildren Kaitlyn Marie and Nicole LeeAnne; his mother of Chicago; and his sister Arleen (Glenn) Eisenhamer of Yorkville, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation Friday, May 18, 2007 from 3:00 until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Saturday, May 19, 2007 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Resurrection Mausoleum in Justice, Illinois.
