Edward J. Perek was born in Chicago to Walter and Sophie (nee Duda) Perek. He passed away May 2, 2007 in Arlington Heights at the age of 74.

Mr. Perek was general manager of a printing company before his retirement. He enjoyed painting, pottery and cooking.

He is survived by his wife, Carole (nee Minta) whom he married on September 1, 1956, his children, Tim (Sue) of Arlington Heights, Laura (Bob) Weiss of Elgin and Dave (Stacey) of Las Vegas, NV, his grandchildren, Jenny (Luke) St. Clair, Kristen and Matthew Perek and Bobby, Mary and Debbie Weiss, his brother Walter (Nancy) Oerek.

Visitation Saturday, May 5, 2007 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Entombment at St. Adalbert Mausoleum, Niles, Illinois.
