Sigrid Thompson was born in Chicago on November 6, 1906 to Anton and Anna Andersen. She passed away in Arlington Heights on May 2, 2007.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Harold) Tonnesen of Arlington Heights and Marion (Paul) Kangas of Barrington, her grandchildren, Debbie (Keith) Bode, Nancy (Bob) Sloan, Dan (Linda) Tonnesen, Lynn Kangas, Lori Bond, Paul (Kris) Kangas and Karin (Nick) Garite, and her 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tieman and her son, Howard.

Visitation Saturday, May 5, 2007 from 1:00 PM until time of funeral service at 3:00 PM at the Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church, 1330 N. Douglas Ave. Arlington Heights. Friends and family to meet Monday at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, then proceeding to Mt. Olive Cemetery for interment.
