John R. "Jack" McCall
Of Arlington Heights

John R. "Jack" McCall was born July 23, 1925 in Chicago to Charles E. and Josephine C. (nee McGovern) McCall. He died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at his home in Arlington Heights.

Mr. McCall was the former Chicago Ad Agency owner and served in the Navy during WW II. He was an active member of Our Lady of the Wayside Church, CCD Teacher, church Lector, member of the 3rd Order of Franciscans and a Boy Scout Troop Leader.

John graduated from St. Mary's College in Winona, Minnesota where he wrote and produced the first theater-in-the-round performed at an American College in 1950. He is also a graduate of the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.

His survivors include his wife Beverly nee Larson; his children John Jeffrey (Anita) McCall, J. Kevin (Karen) McCall, Christopher McCall, Robert (Christy) McCall, Mary (Ray) Loch, Charles (Debbie) McCall, Ann (Tom) Sadowski and Joseph (Megan) McCall; his grandchildren Ian, Meghan, Timothy, Michael, Archibald, Ashley, Alex, Alizabeth, Abbie, Adam, Kerri Ann, Daniel, Maxwell, Kelly, Amanda, Justin, Madison, Margaret and Raymond; and his sister Marion Leon.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Cedar Hills Cemetery in Princeton, Kentucky.
