Evelyn Klopfenstein

Evelyn Klopfenstein was born January 27, 1924 in Chicago to Frank and Celia (nee Kaminsky) Sachacki. She died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Evelyn was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family.

Her survivors include her husband of 61 years, King Klopfenstein whom she married June 9, 1944 in Park Ridge; her sons Kraig (Sharon) Klopfenstein of South Barrington and Kevin (Sherri) Klopfenstein of Crystal Lake; her 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Ramona Herdegen.

Funeral service 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation from 10:00 AM until time of Service at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to NWSRA, Scholarship for Children with Special Needs Camp, 3000 Central, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.
