Eva Nemeth was born March 28, 1913 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Frank and Theresa (nee Meitz) Merkle. She died Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Lexington of Wheeling Healthcare Center.

She is survived by her daughters Geraldine (Karl) Dash of Arlington Heights, Sharon (James) Poulos of Palatine and Terri Fowler of Buffalo Grove; her 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and her brother Joseph Merkle.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steve and her siblings Mary Richter, Rudy, Frank and Steve Merkle.

Visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, May 15, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment in private.
