Donald L. Schreiner
Of Arlington Heights for over 50 years

Donald L. Schreiner was born October 28, 1914 in Des Moines, Iowa to Harry and Minnie (nee Webb) Schreiner. He died Saturday, May 14, 2005 at Church Creek Healthcare Center.

Mr. Schreiner was employed by US Gypsum for over 30 years and was the comptroller at the time of his retirement. He was an officer in the Navy during WW II.

Donald's survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ethelyn "Peg" M. nee Wagner; his children Dianne (Denis) DeCamp of Schaumburg, Wayne (Eleanor) Schreiner of Singapore, Kenneth (Dr. Abbie Griffin) Schreiner of Champagne, Ill. and Russell (Sharon) Schreiner of Park Ridge; his 6 grandchildren and his niece Joanne Whitfield.

Funeral service 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607.
