Joseph Horvath
Of Buffalo Grove

Joseph Horvath age 87, formerly of Church Creek in Arlington Heights. Joseph was born August 5, 1917 in Granger, Indiana to Louis and Mary Horvath. He died Wednesday at Addolorata Villa in Wheeling.


Joseph retired in 1982 as a machine operator for Western Electric in Cicero after 31 years of service. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights.

Survivors Include his wife of 63 years Mary (nee Titz) whom he married on August 30, 1941 in Chicago. Children: Frank (Mary) Horvath of Rolling Prairie, Indiana and Margaret (the late James) McKee of Grayslake. Grandchildren: Ann Marie (Ken) Dow, Laura Jean (Jerry) Dietz, James (Jennifer) Mckee Jr., Frank (Tyneka) Horvath Jr. and Jason Horvath. 14 Great Grandchildren. 6 nephews and 1 niece.

He was preceded in death by brother: Louis Horvath. Sister: Mary Dodge and his parents.

Memorial Service will be held 11:30 AM, Monday, May 23, 2005 at the Addolorata Villa Chapel, 555 McHenry Rd., Wheeling, Illinois.
