Geraldyne V. O'Neil was born January 26, 1915 in Chicago to Michael Hickey and Bridget (nee Butler) Hickey. She died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at ManorCare of Arlington Heights.

Mrs. O'Neill was an executive secretary for Zenith Electronics in Glenview before retiring.

Her survivors include her children Jack O'Neill of Palatine and Peggy (Gerald) McCarthy of Deerfield; her 7 grandchildren and her 8 great grandchildren.

Geraldyne is preceded in death by her husband John and her siblings Michael (Elizabeth) Joseph, Catherine (Godfrey), Cecelia (James), Mary, William, Helen (Raymond), and John (Margaret).

Visitation from 4:00 until 9:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2005 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2005 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
