Roger P. Zimmer
Of Arlington Heights

Roger P. Zimmer, age 78 was born July 24, 1926 in Chicago to Albert and Theresa. He died Tuesday at his home.

Roger was a veteran of WWII serving with the Army Air Corp. He was a member of the Sign Painters Union.

He is survived by his children: Holly (Ralph) Kuhn of Carol Stream, Michael A. (Beth) Zimmer of Elgin and Heather (Tim) Herrick of Elgin. Grandchildren: Michael C., Delaney D. and Nicole. He is loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene nee Tiede and his parents.

Prayers will be held 10:15 AM, Friday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights to St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 Anderson (Anderson & Williams), Palatine for Mass at 11:00 AM.

Visitation Thursday from 3 PM until 9 PM at the Glueckert
