George Hnatt
Of Mt. Prospect

George Hnatt was born on April 6, 1923 in Youngstown, Ohio to Paul and Anna (nee Leeson) Hnatt. He died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center in Inverness, Ill.

Mr. Hnatt was a creative art director for J. Walter Thompson Advertising Agency for over 35 years before retiring in 1984. During WW II, he served in the Army, Company G, 264th INF 66th Division.

George is survived by his daughters, Linda (Ben) Chin, and Kathleen (Tom) Winsauer; his grandchildren David (Amanda) Winsauer, Cary Winsauer, Dan Chin, and Krista Chin; his great grandchildren Jacob Winsauer, and Kylie Chin; and his siblings Ann (Joe) Sweetko, Irene Hnatt and Julie Conti .

He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine; his parents; and his siblings Michael Hnatt, Catherine Vaughan, Eleanor Hnatt, and Caroline Hnatt.

Services and interment were held privately.
