Torsten “Sig” Carlson
Of Inverness

Torsten S. “Sig” Carlson, 78, beloved husband of 50 years to Sylvia Carlson; loving father of Lisa (Bill Callies) Grant and Eric (Donna) Carlson; proud grandfather of Neill Grant, Dana Grant and Gunnar Carlson; caring brother of Ronald (Bobbie) Carlson and Raymond (Joy) Carlson; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; passed away peacefully at his home on April 12th with his family at his side. Sig’s homecoming was preceded by his parents, Torsten and Svea Carlson and his twin brother, Hasse. Sig was a happy soul and will be missed by many.

Sig’s family will gather for a memorial visitation from 10:30 am until the time of funeral services at 11:30 am on Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL 60028 will be appreciated.
