Shirley Mae Sheffer was born on March 16, 1934 in Harvey to Anthony and Anna (nee DeYoung) Trenning. She passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Arlington Heights.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Bill Sheffer Sr.; her sons, Bill Jr. (Sandi) Sheffer, Scott (Jennifer) Sheffer and Keith Sheffer; her grandchildren, Shauna Schuda, David Sheffer, William Valiente Sheffer and Shannon Grace Valiente Sheffer; her sisters Jeanne the late Richard) Klouda, Delores (Cornelius) Van Swol and Lillian (Jim) Landman; and her sister-in-law, Janice (Bill) Cummings.

Visitation from 5:00 pm until 8:30 pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights and from 9:00 am until the time of services at 10:00 am Thursday, April 11, 2013 at The Orchard Evangelical Free Church, 1330 N. Douglas Ave., Arlington Heights. Interment Memory Gardens.
