John Anthony Ferguson
Of Prospect Heights, formerly of Mount Prospect

John Ferguson was born on April 22, 1961 in Chicago to John and Betty (nee Esser) Ferguson. He died Friday, April 5, 2013 in Glenview.

John had worked as a Warehouse Supervisor for Burrows in Wheeling. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church in Prospect Heights. John was a loving and devoted father to Jack. He was an avid golfer, and loved all sports.

John is survived by his son, Jack Ferguson; former spouse, Janet (nee Myers) Ferguson; mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Ferguson; siblings, Kathleen (Barry) Rosenbaum, Peggy (Jim) White, Mary (Tony) Valentyn, Kevin Ferguson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by father, John Albert Ferguson, and brother, Geoffrey Ferguson.

Visitation from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004 (4 blocks south of Palatine Road). Funeral Mass 11:00 am, Friday, April 12, 2013, at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 411 North Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. Interment is private.
