Lydia E. “Lee” Blazevich
Of Arlington Heights

Lydia E. “Lee” Blazevich, formerly of Chicago, Oak Forest and Buffalo Grove, was born on September 27, 1915 in Chicago, to Carl and Alma (nee Williams) Johnson. She died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at The Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Blazevich started her career as a salesperson at Weiden’s Bakery, later she worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator for the American Cancer Society.

Lydia is survived by her son, Richard (Ruth) Blazevich; her grandchildren Elizabeth and Charles Blazevich; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Vincent and her parents.

Visitation from 2:00 PM until time of funeral service at 5:30 pm, Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Ill. is private.
