Aileen R. Prince was born on April 9, 1935 in Oak Park to Alvin and Theresa (nee Orlofski) Roder. She died Saturday, April 28, 2012 in Des Plaines.

Mrs. Prince worked as a registered nurse at Augustana Hospital for many years. She also worked at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove and at the health department in Hoffman Estates for over 25 years. Aileen was a patient at Ballard Nursing Home for the past 6 years. She was her husband’s business partner and a very loving wife.

Aileen is survived by her spouse of 39 years, General Prince; her children, John W. Prince, Lisa Kay Scoville, David Glen Prince, William (Jennifer) Walter, and Brian Jon Walter; her grandchildren, Nichole, Joshua, Chris, Johnny, Meghan; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Rick, Jr., and Liam.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Sharon and Ricky.

Visitation from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd.,1520 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., Arlington Heights. Committal Service 11:00 AM, Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Chapel Hill Gardens West, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd., Oakbrook.
