Gloria M. Carson
Of Inverness

Gloria M. Carson was born on January 19, 1927 in Chicago to James and Katherine (nee Hoyle) Peterson. She passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Arlington Heights.

Gloria retired from the phone company and was active in the Telephone Pioneers Club.

Gloria is survived by her spouse of 62 years, Edmund; her children, Pam (Joe) Whittington and Lawrence (Christine) Trombini; her grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Barnish and Matthew (Jacqueline Krug) Whittington; her sister, Linda (Edwin) Desmond; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights where services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 26, 2012. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
