Richard “Chip” Horcher
Of Buffalo Grove

Richard “Chip” Horcher was born December 24, 1930 in Wheeling to Nicholas and Lorena (nee Weidner) Horcher. He died April 11, 2012 at Pepper Family Hospice in Barrington.

Chip is survived by his wife Jo Ann (nee Nolan) Horcher; his children Tom (Connie), Alan and Mark (Suzanne) Horcher; his grandchildren Kyle, Lane, Amanda, Leah, Allison, Jessica and Sam; his siblings Dan (Karen), Ray (Irene) Horcher and Delores (Bob) Zettek.

Chip is preceded in death by his brothers Ed, Rudy, Syke, Harry and Art.

Visitation from 3 PM until 9 PM, Friday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Saturday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Mary Catholic Parish 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove for Mass at 10 AM. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010.
