Irene Miller

Irene Miller was born June 8, 1929 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin to Walter and Lilas (nee Broas) Burmester. She passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Schaumburg.

Mrs. Miller was a secretary for United Airlines for 29 years until her retirement in 1989. She was an avid bowler for 40 years, and enjoyed traveling and cruises to many places.

She is survived by her children, Gary Miller of Sebree, Kentucky, and Alan (Denise) Miller of Boynton Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Brian (Christina) Miller, and Adam Miller; her great-grandson, Lucas Miller; and her best friend, Donna Kahl.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Helen Weiss.

Visitation from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Entombment is at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
