Nicholas Schoofs

Nicholas Schoofs was born February 26, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Nicholas S. and Helen (nee Gee) Schoofs. He died on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Wheeling.

Mr. Schoofs was employed as a religious education teacher.

He is survived by his wife, Joan (nee Schmidt) Schoofs; and his sister, Dorothy Brever; and many nieces and nephews.

Nicholas is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Albert (Marion) Schoofs, Raymond Schoofs, Gerald (Aminta) Schoofs, and Patrick Schoofs.

Visitation from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Alphonsus Ligouri Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the charity of donor’s choice.
