Jeanne Frances Piper was born April 24, 1925 in Gary, Indiana to Joseph Andrew and Anna Elizabeth (nee Geenter) Doerr. She passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Emeritus at Prospect Heights.

Mrs. Piper was an active volunteer at Northwest Community Hospital, St. James Catholic Church and a member of the Questers.

She is survived by her children, Mary Patricia (David) Hansen, Maureen (Dan) Woodard, Margaret Anne “Peggy” (Late Dennis) Burson, Robert Timothy (late Mary) Piper, and Monica (David Miller) Piper; and her grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle), Jill, and Dan Hansen, Brian (Julia) Woodard, Sarah (Brian) Schneider, Emily (Tim) Bedwell, Holly, Joseph, Emily (Tim ) Bedwell and Ezekiel Burson, and Oona and Otto Miller;

Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Piper; her parents; and her siblings, Walter and Flavian Doerr, Elizabeth Wright, Grace Winandy, Bernard, Norbert, and Albert Doerr, Audrey Middleton, and Douglas Doerr.

Visitation from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 10:15 AM, Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 11:00 AM. Entombment is at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
