Daniel N. Myers
Of Arlington Heights

Daniel N. Myers was born October 15, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts to George D. and Virginia K. (nee Nohl) Myers. He died on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Myers, a chemical engineer, was a respected mentor and industry expert in the petroleum refining and petrochemical fields. He recently retired from a distinguished 44 year career at UOP LLC, in Des Plaines.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Vincenza “Ina” (nee Greco) Myers; his children, George Myers, David (Sherry) Myers, and Christine (Chris) Naunheimer; his five grandchildren; and his sisters, Judy Williams, Carol Myers, and Virginia Boyce.,

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment is at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Faith Christian Center or Willow Creek Community Church. For donations to Willow Creek Community Church, please specify “Care Center” in the memo line.
