James Michael Thomas was born November 30, 1956 in Chicago to Thomas F. and Annie (nee Richards) Thomas. He died on Friday, April 9, 2010 in Prospect Heights.
James grew up in the Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago and was a 1975 graduate of Gordon Tech. He was the Director of Portfolios at A T & T Capital Services for 13 years.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Tewes) Thomas; loving father of Bradley A. (Lauren), Trista D, Jessica L. Thomas, and James A. Scarpelli, Jr.; loved son of Annie and the late Thomas F. Thomas; dear brother of Terry W. (Annie), Darrell K., and Angela G. (Pat) McCluskey.
Memorial visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Memorial Mass 11 AM Saturday, April 17, 2010 at St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Cancer Care and Hematology Specialists, 800 W. Central Rd., # 8800, Arlington Hts., IL 60005.
