Of Arlington Heights
Rudy L. Prochaska was born November 2, 1935 in Chicago to Rudolph W. and Anna (nee Marsalek) Prochaska. He died on Friday, April 9, 2010 in Arlington Heights.
Before retiring, Mr. Prochaska was employed as company manager for Peer Chain for over 40 years. He traveled frequently to the Orient, for business, where he made many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Agatha (nee Dorth) Prochaska whom he married on March 16, 1957 in Chicago; his children, Mark (Shawna) Prochaska of Bartlett, Lisa (Mike) Dutton of Shorewood, Minnesota, and Laura (Ron) Capes of Fletcher, North Carolina; his grandchildren, Michele Hanko, Ronnie Capes, Adam Dutton, Tristan Capes, Damian Capes, Drew, Charlie, and Jack Dutton.
Rudy was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Laddie Prochaska.
Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Entombment is at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Arlington Heights.
