Eulalia A. Busse was born on November 26, 1912 to Theodore and Minnie(nee Tegtmeier) Dettmann in Arlington Heights where she lived until 2002 when she moved to San Jose, California to be with her son Verne and his family. She died peacefully on April 5. 2010 at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, California.
Eulalia is survived by her son Verne (JoAnne Caltagirone) Busse; her grandchildren Susan (Edward) Erickson and Scott (Donna) Busse all of San Jose, CA. She has six loving great grandchildren; Jason, Melissa and Kailey Erickson and Stephen, Matthew and Thomas Busse; Also survived by her sibling Ada Heynis of St. Joseph Michigan; her sisters-in-law Connie Dettmann and Verdell Young, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, LaVerne and her son Eugene Busse.
Visitation will from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights and from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 12, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church, 302 N. Dunton Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment at Memory Garden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First Presbyterian Church, or to the Arthritis Foundation.
