Pauline Shewchuk was born on August 3, 1917 to Ignac and Barbara (nee Jos) Mandryk in Bohdan, Manatoba, Canada. She died on April 5, 2010 at Resurrection Hospital in Chicago.
Pauline is survived by, her husband Mike; her son Ernest (Kathleen); grandsons, Scott (Kate) and Todd (Vita); her great grandchildren Michael, Julianna, Katelyn, Margaret and Sarah; her siblings, Morris (Emily) Mandryk and Iris (Louis) Swiderski; her nieces, Nadia Lachowski and Sally Kowalski and many more nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Clifford, her siblings, Ann Mandryk, Mary Snatenchuk, Walter Mandryk, Helen Burdeniuk, and John, Bill, Mike and Nestor Mandryk
Visitation Wednesday, April 7, 2010, from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Entombment at Ridgewood Cemetery.
