Formerly of Arlington Heights
Sharon L. McKinley, of Wheeling, was born May 27, 1939 in Oshkosh, WI to Peter Ruhl and M. Louise nee Warburton. She died on April 3, 2010 at Midwest Care Center in Skokie.
Before retiring in 1998 Mrs. McKinley was a physical therapist assistant with HealthSouth in Arlington Heights for over 15 years. She was a loyal friend who enjoyed needlepoint, reading, the beach, and traveling to Florida with her husband.
Sharon is survived by her children, Scott (Yael Paryzerband) McKinley of Grayslake and Laura (Dan) Donovan of Buffalo Grove; her granddaughter, Alyssa McKinley, her step grandchildren, Katherine & Christen Donovan; her siblings Robert (Donna) Laus and Joanna (Bryan) Schulz
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Wayne McKinley and her parents.
Visitation from 11:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment at Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery.
